The CCH890/1 is a dual-coil, brushless DC motor (fan) driver IC. The product is manufactured using an advanced BiCMOS process and includes an internal Hall sensor, dynamic offset cancellation module, Hall reference voltage source, oscillator, sample-and-hold circuit, and power output stage. The output stage has a peak current output capability of 1.2A and a continuous output current of up to 600mA. The CCH890/1 has speed counting (CCH890) and stall detection (CCH891) functions. The open-drain output makes the product easier to connect to external interfaces. The CCH890/1 is available in TO-94 and SOT335 packages and is ROHS compliant.
