The CC6201 is a low-power, high-sensitivity, bipolar Hall effect switch sensor with latch output, which can directly replace traditional reed switches. It is especially suitable for battery-powered portable electronic products such as mobile phones, cordless phones, laptops, and PDAs. The CC6201 has bipolar magnetic field detection; it activates when either the north or south pole of a magnet is nearby, and the output turns off when the magnetic field is removed. Unlike typical Hall effect sensors, the CC6201 does not require a specific north or south pole to operate, reducing the hassle of identifying magnetic poles during assembly. The product uses dynamic offset cancellation technology, which eliminates offset voltage caused by packaging stress, thermal stress, and temperature gradients, improving device consistency. The CC6201 internal circuit includes a Hall element, voltage regulator module, signal amplification processing module, dynamic offset cancellation module, latch module, and CMOS output stage. Because the CC6201 uses an advanced BiCMOS process and an overall optimized circuit structure, the product has extremely low input error feedback. At the same time, the product uses an extremely miniaturized packaging process, making the product more competitive in terms of performance and market advantages. The CC6201 is available in SOT23-3 and TO-92S packages and has an operating temperature range of -40 to 150°C.
