The SFL980 single-chip integrated 700V high-voltage starter device has a start-up time of less than 100 milliseconds and can achieve "instant-on", making it a high-PF, low-THD, high-precision LED constant current controller optimized for isolated Flyback architectures, suitable for the LED lighting field. This chip uses a patented "super-PFC/PSRTM" control architecture and "min-THDTM" technology to achieve a conversion efficiency as high as 90%, a power factor higher than 0.92, a THD of less than 10%, and a constant current accuracy of ±4% in mass production. The SFL980 incorporates a patented high-precision closed-loop constant current algorithm, supporting quasi-resonant QR and DCM modes, and also incorporates load adjustment compensation and AC line voltage compensation, greatly improving the LED output constant current accuracy. The chip's maximum operating frequency is clamped at 90KHz, and combined with output GATE soft drive, the LED power supply has good conduction and radiation EMI performance. The SFL980 uses quasi-resonant (QR) control, reducing switching losses through valley conduction, significantly increasing energy conversion efficiency. The SFL980 has a very wide VDD operating voltage range, from 10.5V to 27V, making LED system design more convenient. The SFL980 integrates numerous protection functions, including VDD undervoltage protection, VDD OVP overvoltage protection, LED short-circuit/open-circuit protection, chip over-temperature protection, cycle-by-cycle overcurrent protection, and pin floating protection. VDD OVP overvoltage protection is a latching protection mode for plug-in, while other protections are automatic restart protection modes. The SFL980 is available in an SOP8 package.
