KP311A
KP311A High-performance, low-cost offline PWM control switch KP311A is a non-isolated, highly integrated and low-cost PWM power switch suitable for step-down circuits. KP311A adopts a high-voltage single-crystal wafer process, integrating a 500V high-voltage MOSFET and a controller using switch-peak current mode control on the same wafer. It guarantees a high-precision 5V default output across the full voltage input range. Internally, the minimum Toff time is fixed at 32μs and includes a frequency dithering function, optimizing EMI effects while ensuring output power. The chip also features light and heavy load modes, easily achieving standby power consumption below 50mW. KP311A integrates comprehensive protection functions: VDD undervoltage protection, cycle-by-cycle current limiting, abnormal overcurrent protection, overtemperature protection, overload protection, and short-circuit protection.
