KP311A
KP311A High-performance, low-cost offline PWM power switch KP311A is a non-isolated, highly integrated and low-cost PWM power switch suitable for buck and boost circuits. KP311A uses a high-voltage single-wafer process, integrating a 500V high-voltage MOSFET and a controller using switch-mode peak current mode control on the same wafer. It ensures a high-precision 5V default output across the full voltage input range. Internally, the minimum Toff time is fixed at 32μs and includes a frequency dithering function, optimizing EMI performance while ensuring output power. The chip also features light and heavy load modes, easily achieving standby power consumption below 50mW. KP311A integrates comprehensive protection functions: VDD undervoltage protection, cycle-by-cycle current limiting, abnormal overcurrent protection, overtemperature protection, overload protection, and short-circuit protection.
