Chip Description
The EG1416 single-channel high-speed low-side gate driver effectively drives metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistors and insulated-gate bipolar transistor power switches. It provides high peak sink/source current pulses for capacitive loads, while offering rail-to-rail drive capability and short propagation delay. The EG1416 has a wide supply voltage range of 4V～20V and a static power consumption of less than 1uA. When VCC = 12V, the EG1416 can provide a peak sink/source (symmetrical drive) current drive capability of 2A; it uses an SOT23-5 package.
