Chip Description
The EG2132 is a cost-effective, high-power MOS tube and IGBT gate drive chip. It integrates logic signal input processing circuits, dead-time control circuits, undervoltage shutdown circuits, interlock circuits, level shift circuits, pulse filtering circuits, and output drive circuits. It is specifically designed for drive circuits in brushless motor controllers.
The EG2132 has a high-end operating voltage of up to 300V and a wide low-end Vcc supply voltage range of 8V～20V, with low static power consumption. The chip has an interlock function to prevent simultaneous conduction of the output power tubes. The input channels HIN and LIN have built-in 200K pull-down resistors, which turn off the upper and lower power MOS tubes when the input is floating. The output current capability is IO+/-1.0/1.5A, and it uses an SOP8 package.
