CN5815
Overview: CN5815 is a fixed-frequency current mode PWM controller for boost-type high-brightness LED drivers. The CN5815 input voltage range is 4.5V to 32V, driving an external N-channel field-effect transistor (MOSFET), and the LED current is set by an external current sensing resistor. CN5815 integrates a reference voltage source unit, error amplifier, 330KHz oscillator, slope compensation generator, current mode PWM control unit, inductor overcurrent protection circuit, LED brightness adjustment unit, chip shutdown unit, soft start circuit, and gate drive circuit modules. CN5815 uses current mode PWM control to improve transient response characteristics and simplify the frequency compensation network. The built-in soft-start circuit effectively reduces inrush current during power-up. Other functions include chip shutdown, overvoltage protection, LED brightness adjustment, built-in 5V voltage regulator, and slope compensation. CN5815 is available in a 10-pin SSOP package.
