CN5816
Overview: CN5816 is a current mode, fixed-frequency PWM buck or buck-boost high-brightness LED driver IC. The input voltage range of CN5816 is 4.5V to 32V. It features a small number of external components and simple, flexible application. CN5816 includes a bandgap reference voltage, a 330KHz oscillator, a current mode control unit, a chip shutdown circuit, a soft-start circuit, and a gate drive circuit. Current mode control improves the system's transient response and simplifies loop compensation. The internal soft-start circuit reduces inrush current during power-up. Other features include chip shutdown, output overvoltage protection, a built-in 5V voltage regulator, and slope compensation. CN5816 is available in a 10-pin SSOP package.
