IP6527
The IP6527 is a step-down converter with an integrated synchronous switch, supporting 14 fast charging protocols, Type-C output, and USB PD2.0/PD3.0 (PPS) protocols. It is a SoC that provides a complete solution for car chargers, fast charging adapters, and smart power strips. The IP6527 supports USB Type-C or USB A output, with a total power of 5V/3.6A. The IP6527 has built-in power MOS, an input voltage range of 8.2V to 32V, an output voltage range of 3V to 20V, and can provide a maximum output power of 45W. It can automatically adjust the output voltage and current according to the identified fast charging protocol. The IP6527 outputs 5V/3A, with a board-level conversion efficiency as high as 96.5%. The IP6527 has an automatic overcurrent adjustment function. After successful SCP and low-voltage fast charging protocol handshake, it supports 5V/4.5A and 4.5V/5A. The IP6527 output has CV/CC characteristics. When the output current is less than the set value, it outputs in CV mode with a constant output voltage. When the output current is greater than the set value, it outputs in CC mode, and the output voltage decreases. The IP6527 output voltage has a line compensation function. When the output current increases, the output voltage will increase accordingly to compensate for the voltage drop caused by the connection line impedance. The IP6527 has a soft-start function to prevent inrush current from affecting the stability of the input power supply during startup. The IP6527 has multiple protection functions, including input overvoltage and undervoltage protection, output overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, and short-circuit protection. The IP6527 uses a 5*5mm QFN32 package.
