IP6806
The IP6806 is a wireless charging transmitter control SoC chip, compatible with the latest WPC Qi v1.2.4 standard. It supports A11 or A11a coils and supports 5W, Apple 7.5W, and Samsung 10W charging. The IP6806 detects the wireless receiver through analog ping and establishes communication with the receiver before starting power transmission. The IP6806 decodes the communication data packets sent from the receiver and then uses a PID algorithm to change the oscillation frequency to adjust the output power on the coil. Once the battery on the receiver is fully charged, the IP6806 terminates power transmission. The IP6806 integrates a full-bridge drive circuit and full-bridge power MOS, and a voltage & current dual-channel ASK communication demodulation module; the solution has high integration, which can significantly reduce the size and BOM cost of the solution.
