IP6808
IP6808 is a wireless charging transmitter control SoC chip. It is compatible with the latest WPC Qi v1.2.4 standard, supports A11 coils, and supports 5W, Apple 7.5W, and Samsung 10W charging. IP6808 detects the wireless receiver through analog ping and establishes communication with the receiver before starting power transmission. IP6808 decodes the communication data packets sent from the receiver and then uses the PID algorithm to change the oscillation frequency to adjust the output power on the coil. Once the battery on the receiver is fully charged, IP6808 terminates the power transmission. A full-bridge drive circuit and voltage & current dual-channel ASK communication demodulation module are integrated on the chip, which has high integration, reduces the solution size and BOM cost.
