The MP5037B is a single-chip solution IC designed specifically for mobile power supplies. It is a highly integrated mobile power management chip that incorporates a switching charging management module, an LED power display module, and a synchronous boost discharge management module. The MP5037B has a maximum charging current of 2A and a maximum synchronous boost output current of 2.4A. In addition, the MP5037B also integrates discharge path management, power display, and flashlight functions, greatly simplifying the peripheral circuit and the number of components. For mobile power supply applications with high-capacity lithium batteries (lithium-ion or lithium-polymer), it provides the simplest and most user-friendly low-cost solution. The chip integrates a USB charging protocol and can automatically identify the type of charging device (including Apple and Samsung phones) via DP/DM. It then communicates with the device using the corresponding USB charging protocol to obtain the maximum charging current, saving charging time while protecting the charging device. The MP5037B uses a QFN24_4mm*4mm package.
