The MP5043/MP5045 is a management IC specifically designed for power banks. It highly integrates a switching charging management module, battery information module, and synchronous boost discharge management module. The MP5043/MP5045 supports a maximum charging current of 2A and a maximum synchronous boost output current of 2.4A. Additionally, the MP5043/MP5045 integrates discharge path management and flashlight functions. When used with an MCU, it allows for customized LED output modes such as running lights, breathing lights, and water drop lights, and can also be used in digital tube display schemes, greatly simplifying the peripheral circuit and the number of components. It provides a simple, easy-to-use, and low-cost solution for high-capacity lithium battery (lithium-ion or lithium-polymer) power bank applications. The MP5043/MP5045 uses an ESOP8 package.
