CC6415 is a high-performance single-coil DC brushless motor (fan) driver IC. This IC is designed and manufactured using an advanced high-voltage BiCMOS process. The chip includes a high-sensitivity Hall sensor, chopper offset cancellation module, Hall temperature compensation unit, voltage regulator, and low RDSON full-bridge driver, etc. CC6415 integrates a locked-rotor protection function internally. When the fan is locked, it automatically stops supplying power to the coil and enters a self-start state. This method reduces power consumption during the fan's locked-rotor process, ensures the fan will not burn out when locked, and greatly improves the reliability of the fan. CC6415 integrates reverse connection protection, eliminating the need for an external reverse protection diode, thus saving costs for customers. CC6415 has a soft-start function, which reduces the peak current during fan startup. CC6415 has a soft-switching function, resulting in low noise during fan operation. CC6415 is available in TO-94 and SOT335 packages, with an operating temperature range of -40~105°C.
