The CC6407 is a high-performance single-coil brushless DC motor (fan) driver IC. This IC is manufactured using an innovative high-voltage BiCMOS process, optimizing the Hall sensor and motor drive structure. The chip includes a high-sensitivity Hall sensor, a chopper offset cancellation module, a Hall temperature compensation unit, over-temperature protection, a voltage regulator, a low RDSON full-bridge driver, and active reverse protection. The CC6407 has extremely low power consumption, with a static current of only 2mA, far lower than similar products on the market, helping to improve fan efficiency and reliability. The CC6407 integrates a patented active reverse protection function, reducing the number of external components for the fan and lowering manufacturing costs. It is available in TO-94, TSOT23-6L, SOT335, and CPC8-4 packages.
