The CC6403A/4A is a high-performance, single-coil, brushless DC motor (fan) driver chip. This chip is manufactured using an innovative advanced high-voltage BiCMOS process, optimized for Hall sensors and motor drives. The chip includes a high-sensitivity Hall sensor, a chopper offset cancellation module, a Hall temperature compensation unit, a voltage regulator, and a low RDSON full-bridge driver. The CC6403A/4A boasts low power consumption, with a static current of only 2mA, significantly lower than comparable products on the market, helping to improve fan efficiency and reliability. The CC6403A/4A integrates a stall protection function. When the fan stalls, it automatically stops supplying power to the coil and enters a self-start state, reducing power consumption during stall and preventing the fan from burning out, significantly improving reliability. The CC6403A/4A can withstand a momentary high voltage of 40V, ensuring reliability in various application environments. The CC6403A/4A integrates reverse connection protection, eliminating the need for an external reverse connection protection diode and saving costs for customers. The CC6403A has a speed counting function (FG), and the CC6404A has a lock alarm function (RD). The CC6403A/4A is available in a SOT335 package and operates within a temperature range of -40~125°C.
