It is a synchronous step-down regulator with an output current of up to 3A.
The SP6816F is a synchronous step-down regulator with an output current of up to 3A. It is designed to operate over a wide input voltage range of 8V to 32V. Internal compensation requires a minimal number of readily available standard external components.
The SP6816F integrates various fast charging protocols. It can automatically identify the fast charging protocol supported by the device connected to the output through DP/DM and automatically adjust the output voltage and current. The SP6816F supports the following fast charging protocols: BC1.2, APPLE2.4, QC2.0/QC3.0, FCP, AFC.
