It is a synchronous step-down regulator with an output current of up to 3.4A.
The SP1232F is a step-down PWM circuit that can drive a 3.1A load current. The design allows the SP1232F to operate within a wide input voltage range of 5V to 32V.
The SP1232F can operate in either CC (constant current output) or CV (constant voltage output) mode. The overcurrent protection (OCP) current value can be set via an external current sensing resistor.
The SP1232F is suitable for DC/DC switching power supplies with current limiting requirements. The chip uses an SOP8 package, has internal compensation, adjustable frequency, and requires minimal external components.
