SF2228
The SF2228 is a high-performance, highly integrated QR (Quasi-Resonant Mode) and Primary Side Regulation (PSR) power switch suitable for offline low-power converter applications. The SF2228 features proprietary Super-QR/PSR™ technology for high efficiency and low EMI, ensuring the system meets EPS Class VI energy standards. The IC also incorporates cable voltage drop compensation for excellent CV performance. The SF2228 uses multi-mode control to improve efficiency and reliability and reduce audio noise energy at light loads. The SF2228 also integrates a "maximum frequency clamping @ output short circuit" function to limit the power MOSFET Vds spike during an output short circuit. The SF2228 integrates FB short circuit protection, undervoltage lockout (UVLO), VDD overvoltage protection (VDD OVP), output overvoltage protection (Output OVP), soft start, cycle-by-cycle current limit (OCP), pin float protection, VDD clamping, and other functions and protections. The SF2228 is available in an ESOP-6 package.
