It is a buck-type PWM circuit, and this controller can drive a 3.1A load current.
SP1231F is a step-down PWM circuit that can drive a 3.1A load current. The design allows the SP1231F to operate within a wide input voltage range of 4.5V to 32V. An external shutdown function is achieved by pulling the EN pin logic level high, entering standby mode.
SP1231F can operate in either CC (constant current output) or CV (constant voltage output) mode. The overcurrent protection (OCP) current value can be set via an external current sensing resistor.
SP1231F is suitable for DC/DC switching power supplies with current limiting requirements. This chip uses an SOP8 package, internal compensation, and adjustable frequency, requiring fewer external components.
