EG8060
Chip Description EG8060 is a mixed analog-digital chip that uses current mode, center-aligned PWM modulation, and integrates two 600V half-bridge high-voltage MOS drivers, a throttle control module, and a panel control module. It is specifically designed for inverter generator products. This chip uses CMOS technology. Its main internal modules include an SPWM sine wave generator, dead-time control circuit, multiple feedback and protection processing circuits, UART serial communication module, stepper motor control module, and generator panel control and indication circuits. The chip uses an LQFP80 package and requires only a few external components to achieve characteristics such as a no-load waveform distortion rate of less than 1.5%, a full-load waveform distortion rate of less than 3%, and high-precision output voltage, meeting the waveform requirements of the inverter generator industry. It integrates two 600V half-bridge high-voltage MOS drivers. The driver's output current capacity is +/-2A, and it has four independent cycle-by-cycle PWM shutdown protections, effectively preventing damage to MOS transistors from excessively high peak currents under extreme conditions. It also provides two SD pins, SD1 and SD2. SD1 is the cycle-by-cycle shutdown pin for driver 1HO1 and LO1, and SD2 is the cycle-by-cycle shutdown pin for driver 2HO2 and LO2. Combining the MCU and SD functions can achieve short-circuit protection for the inverter. EG8060 has built-in comprehensive protection functions, including DC bus overvoltage and undervoltage protection, AC output undervoltage protection, overload alarm indication, overload protection indication, overcurrent protection indication, overtemperature protection indication, and short-circuit protection indication. EG8060 has a built-in UART serial communication function. Users can configure parameters and reset functions through the serial port. They can also read the inverter's operating status and related data through the serial port.
