LP9901F is a high-performance synchronous rectifier control chip specifically optimized for high-power switching power supplies above 200W. It is suitable for AC/DC switching power supplies with forward and flyback topologies. LP9901F supports various operating modes, including fixed-frequency CCM, DCM, and variable-frequency BCM, QR. LP9901F adopts patented adaptive cycle tracking technology and patented external programmable dead-time technology to accurately determine the turn-on time of the primary-side MOS tube in the next cycle and turn off the secondary-side synchronous rectifier tube ahead of time (dead time set by the resistor at the T pin). This effectively avoids various problems caused by the common conduction of the primary-side MOS and the secondary-side synchronous rectifier tube, greatly improving the reliability of the synchronous rectification circuit! LP9901F adopts patented external programmable dead-time technology. By adjusting the resistance value of a resistor, the dead time of the synchronous rectifier tube turn-off in CCM mode can be adjusted. In addition, the patented circuit built into LP9901F effectively avoids the malfunction of the driver chip caused by the oscillation of the magnetizing inductance and parasitic capacitance, and the efficiency loss caused by the turn-off delay of pure voltage determination under CCM operating conditions. LP9901F adopts diversified VCC power supply technology to ensure that the VCC supply pin of the chip will not be undervoltage under various output voltage conditions without the need for auxiliary winding power supply.
