LP3716CD is a highly integrated self-powered PSR control chip for isolated adapters and chargers, with an extremely simple peripheral design. LP3716CD fixes the primary peak current and sets the output constant current point through the turns ratio of the transformer's primary and secondary sides. LP3716CD sets the output constant voltage point by setting the FB upper bias resistor value. To achieve extreme simplification of system cost, LP3716CD has a built-in startup circuit, eliminates the need for external startup resistors, integrates the FB lower bias resistor, and fixes the peak current to eliminate the current limiting resistor; it adopts a self-powered method to eliminate the auxiliary winding VCC power supply diode. To achieve better output voltage regulation, LP3716CD has a built-in output cable compensation function, and the output cable compensation value can be adjusted by setting the value of the external FB upper bias resistor. LP3716CD, combined with Xinmao's unique synchronization, can meet high dynamic demands. LP3716CD integrates various protection functions, including VCC clamp/undervoltage protection, FB pin open circuit protection, output short circuit protection, output overvoltage protection, and overtemperature protection. LP3716CD adopts SOP8L package.
