Product Model: LP3715C
LP3715C is a highly integrated, isolated adapter and charger with a self-powered PSR control chip, requiring a very simple external design. The LP3715C fixes the primary-side peak current and sets the output constant current point via the transformer primary-secondary turns ratio; the output constant voltage point is set by setting an FB bias resistor. To simplify system costs, the LP3715C includes a built-in startup circuit, eliminating the need for external startup resistors, and a built-in FB bias resistor, using a fixed peak current to eliminate the current-limiting resistor; a self-powered approach eliminates the auxiliary winding VCC supply diode. To achieve a better output voltage regulation rate, the LP3715C incorporates a built-in output cable compensation function, and the output cable compensation value can be adjusted by setting the value of the external FB bias resistor. The LP3715C integrates multiple protection functions, including VCC clamping/undervoltage protection, FB pin open-circuit protection, output short-circuit protection, output overvoltage protection, and overtemperature protection. The LP3715C uses an SOP8L package.
