LP3715CL is a highly integrated, isolated adapter and charger with a self-powered PSR control chip, featuring an extremely simple peripheral design. The LP3715CL fixes the primary-side peak current and sets the output constant current point via the transformer primary-secondary turns ratio; the output constant voltage point is set by setting an FB bias resistor. To simplify system costs, the LP3715CL incorporates a built-in startup circuit, eliminating the need for external startup resistors, and integrates a high-precision FB bias resistor, using a fixed peak current to eliminate the current-limiting resistor; a self-powered approach eliminates the auxiliary winding VCC supply diode. To achieve a better output voltage regulation rate, the LP3715CL incorporates an output cable compensation function, and the output cable compensation value can be adjusted by setting the value of the external FB bias resistor. The LP3715CL integrates multiple protection functions, including VCC clamping/undervoltage protection, FB pin open-circuit protection, output short-circuit protection, output overvoltage protection, and overtemperature protection. The LP3715CL uses an SOP8L package.
