LP3713CH is a highly integrated, isolated adapter and charger with a self-powered PSR control chip, featuring an extremely simple peripheral design. The LP3713CH sets a fixed primary peak current, using the transformer's primary-to-secondary turns ratio to set the output constant current point; the output constant voltage point is set by setting the upper and lower bias resistors on the FB pin. To simplify system costs, the LP3713CH incorporates a built-in startup circuit, eliminating the need for external startup resistors, and uses a fixed peak current to eliminate the current-limiting resistor; a self-powered approach eliminates the auxiliary winding VCC supply diode. To achieve a better output voltage regulation rate, the LP3713CH incorporates an output cable compensation function, and the output cable compensation value can be adjusted by setting the value of the external upper bias resistor on the FB pin. The LP3713CH integrates multiple protection functions, including VCC clamping/undervoltage protection, FB pin open-circuit protection, output short-circuit protection, output overvoltage protection, and overtemperature protection. The LP3713CH uses a SOP7L package.
