LP8728ML is a PWM controller suitable for secondary-side controlled flyback applications, integrating a 700V high-voltage MOSFET. In PWM operating mode, it uses peak current control and starts reducing frequency below medium load to improve average efficiency. At light load or no load, the system operates in burst mode. LP8728ML uses proprietary OCP compensation technology to achieve constant output power regardless of input voltage. Its unique frequency jitter technology improves EMI performance. LP8728ML has multiple protection functions, including VCC undervoltage protection, VCC overvoltage protection, output overload protection, output synchronous rectification short-circuit protection, CS resistor short-circuit protection, and overtemperature protection. LP8728ML is packaged in SOP8L.
