The SP5521F is a high-efficiency, boost-type LED backlight driver DC/DC control circuit. Designed using a special high-voltage process, it operates stably and reliably under 12V and 24V input voltage. The circuit uses a fixed off-time control mode, where the off-time is precisely adjusted via an external resistor. This flexible off-time setting significantly expands the application range of the SP5521F. The circuit utilizes a compensation capacitor for soft start, minimizing the impact of inrush current on the output. A high-precision 200mV internal reference voltage greatly improves LED current accuracy, with the LED current precisely set via an external resistor.
The SP5521F provides comprehensive protection features, including undervoltage lockout (UVLO), cycle-by-cycle overcurrent protection (OCP), and overtemperature protection (OTP).
