BM1117
The BM1117 series of adjustable and fixed voltage regulators are designed to provide 1A of output current and operate with an input-to-output differential voltage as low as 1V. The voltage drop is guaranteed to be a maximum of 1.3V at maximum output current, decreasing at lower load currents. An on-chip trimming feature allows adjustment of the reference voltage to within 1%. The current limit is also trimmed, minimizing stress on the regulator and power supply circuitry under overload conditions. The BM1117 devices are pin-compatible with other three-terminal SCSI regulators and are available in a surface-mount SOT-223 package and a TO252-2 small plastic package.
