CN106
Overview The CN106 is a high-end current sensing operational amplifier. Its maximum input offset voltage of 300µV (CN106A) and maximum input bias current of 20nA allow for a wide range of flexible applications. The CN106 detects current by sensing the voltage across an external current sensing resistor. The internal circuitry then amplifies this sensed voltage by a factor of 20 and converts it into a voltage output at the OUT pin, referenced to ground (GND). The low input offset voltage allows the CN106 to detect very small voltages, enabling the use of smaller current sensing resistors and thus reducing power consumption. A wide input voltage range, high accuracy, and wide operating temperature range make the CN106 ideal for industrial control and power management applications. With a low operating current of only 60µA, it is also suitable for low-power or battery-powered applications. The CN106 is available in a 5-lead SOT-23 package.
