CN5821
Overview: CN5821 is a step-down constant current high-brightness LED driver IC that operates from 3.2V to 30V. The LED current is set by an external current sensing resistor with an accuracy of up to 10%. The LED brightness can be adjusted via the DIM pin. The dimming method can be PWM dimming or analog dimming. When the voltage at the DIM pin is less than 0.15V (maximum) and the time is greater than 8ms (typical value), the CN5821 enters shutdown mode and consumes 0µA. Due to the use of hysteretic control, the CN5821 has a very fast response speed to load transients and a high suppression ratio to input voltage. The inductor current ripple is 15%. The maximum operating frequency is up to 1MHz. The operating temperature range is from -40°C to 85°C. Other features include chip over-temperature protection and a 5V, 15mA voltage regulator that can supply power to external circuits. The CN5821 is available in a 6-pin SOT23 package.
