IP6536
The IP6536 is a step-down converter with an integrated synchronous switch, supporting DCP (BC1.2, Apple, and Samsung) output protocols. It provides a complete solution for in-vehicle chargers, adapters, smart power strips, and driving recorders. The IP6536 has a built-in power MOS, an input voltage range of 8V to 32V, and an output voltage of 5V, capable of providing a maximum output current of 3.1A. With VIN=12V and an output of 5V/2.4A, the IP6536 achieves a board-level conversion efficiency of up to 92.4%. The IP6536 output has CV/CC characteristics. When the output current is less than the set value, it operates in CV mode with a constant output voltage. When the output current exceeds the set value, it operates in CC mode, and the output voltage decreases. The IP6536 output voltage has a line compensation function. Increasing the output current will correspondingly increase the output voltage to compensate for the voltage drop caused by the connection line impedance. The IP6536 has a soft-start function to prevent inrush current from affecting the stability of the input power supply. The IP6536 has multiple protection functions, including input overvoltage and undervoltage protection, and output overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, and short-circuit protection. The IP6536 uses an ESOP8 package.
