IP6503S
The IP6503S is a step-down converter with an integrated synchronous switch. It supports DCP (BC1.2, Apple 2.4A, Samsung) output protocols, providing a complete solution for in-vehicle chargers, adapters, smart power strips, and driving recorders. The IP6503S has a built-in power MOS, an input voltage range of 8V to 32V, an output voltage of 5V, and can provide a maximum output current of 3.1A. The step-down conversion efficiency of the IP6503S is as high as 94%. The output of the IP6503S has CV/CC characteristics. When the output current is less than the set value, it outputs in CV mode, and the output voltage is constant; when the output current is greater than the set value, it outputs in CC mode, and the output voltage decreases. The output voltage of the IP6503S has a line compensation function. When the output current increases, the output voltage will increase accordingly to compensate for the voltage drop caused by the connection line impedance. The IP6503S has a soft-start function to prevent the inrush current during startup from affecting the stability of the input power supply. The IP6503S has multiple protection functions, including input overvoltage and undervoltage protection, output overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, and short-circuit protection. The IP6503S uses an ESOP8 package.
