The CC6401S is a high-performance, low-cost single-coil brushless DC motor (fan) driver IC. This IC is manufactured using an innovative advanced high-voltage BiCMOS process, which is optimized for Hall sensors and motor drives. The chip includes a reverse polarity protection module, a high-sensitivity Hall sensor, a chopper offset cancellation module, a Hall temperature compensation unit, a voltage regulator, over-temperature protection, and a low RDSON full-bridge driver, etc. The CC6401S has low power consumption, with a static current of only 2.5mA, which helps to improve fan efficiency and reliability. The CC6401S only offers Class A products, reducing customer inventory costs. The CC6401S is available in TSOT23-6L, TO-94, and SOT334 packages, all of which are ROHS compliant.
