The SP5215F is a high-precision primary feedback LED constant current driver chip that uses a primary-side control mode, eliminating the need for a secondary feedback loop. Its special constant current control method achieves excellent linearity, and its extremely low operating current eliminates the need for auxiliary transformer windings for detection and power supply, further reducing external components and saving system cost and size. The chip incorporates a high-precision current sampling circuit, ensuring LED output current accuracy within ±5%. Operating in discontinuous inductor current mode, it's suitable for flyback isolated LED constant current power supplies with 85Vac~264Vac input voltage and power below 5W, primarily used in LED lighting circuits.
The SP5215F features multiple protection functions, including LED open/short circuit protection, CS resistor short circuit protection, undervoltage protection, and chip overtemperature protection.
The SP5215F uses an SOP-8 package.
