The CC6920 is a high-performance Hall effect current sensor capable of effectively measuring DC or AC current, featuring high accuracy, excellent linearity, and temperature stability, widely used in industrial, consumer, and communication equipment. The CC6920 integrates a high-precision, low-noise linear Hall circuit and a low-impedance primary current conductor. The input current flows through the internal 0.9mΩ conductor, and the generated magnetic field induces a corresponding electrical signal on the Hall circuit, which is then processed by internal circuitry to output a voltage signal, making the product easy to use. The low-impedance conductor minimizes power loss and heat dissipation. The internal intrinsic insulation provides a basic operating isolation voltage of 424VRMS and an insulation withstand voltage of 3500VRMS between the input current path and the secondary side circuit. The linear Hall circuit is manufactured using an advanced BiCMOS process, including a high-sensitivity Hall sensor component, Hall signal pre-amplifier, common-mode magnetic field suppression circuit, temperature compensation unit, oscillator, dynamic offset cancellation circuit, and amplifier output module. In the absence of current, the quiescent output is 50%VCC. Under a supply voltage of 5V, the output can linearly vary between 0.2V and 4.8V with the magnetic field, achieving a linearity of 0.1%. The internally integrated differential common-mode rejection circuit of the CC6920 ensures that the chip's output is unaffected by external interference magnetic signals; the integrated dynamic offset cancellation circuit makes the IC's sensitivity immune to external pressure and IC package stress. The CC6920 is available in an SOP8 package, operates over a temperature range of -40 to +125°C, and complies with RoHS requirements.
