Built-in MOS buck type high-power LED constant current driver QX9924
The QX9924 is a high-efficiency, stable and reliable high-brightness LED constant current driver control chip. It has a built-in high-precision comparator, a fixed off-time control circuit, and a constant current drive circuit, making it especially suitable for constant current driving of high-power, multiple high-brightness LED strings.
The QX9921/24 adopts a peak current control method with a fixed off-time. Its operating frequency can be as high as 1MHz, which can reduce the size of the external inductor and filter capacitor, improve efficiency, and save PCB area. The off-time can be adjusted by an external capacitor, and the operating frequency can also be adjusted according to user requirements. By adding a PWM signal to the EN pin, the brightness of the LED can be adjusted.
The QX9924 sets the current flowing through the LED by adjusting the value of the external current sensing resistor. It supports external voltage linear dimming, and the current flowing through the LED can vary from tens of milliamps to 2.5 amps.
The QX9924 uses an ESOP8 package, and the heat sink is built-in and connected to the SW pin.
