QX5278
QX5278 is a boost-buck constant current LED driver chip, particularly suitable for LED lighting fixtures powered by lithium batteries or three dry cells. When the power supply voltage is lower than the LED's forward voltage, QX5278 operates in boost mode; when the power supply voltage is higher than the LED's forward voltage, QX5278 operates in linear buck mode.
QX5278 operates with a voltage range of 2.4V to 5.5V, an operating current less than 500mA, and an efficiency of up to 90%. The LED current is set by an external resistor, and the current accuracy is within 5%.
QX5278 also provides 2.4V undervoltage protection and 5V open-circuit protection functions.
QX5278 adopts SOP8 packaging.
