TP1002
TP1002 is a high-performance AC/DC power controller that can drive low-cost 1300 series NPN transistors. It uses pulse width modulation (PWM) and PFM adaptive mode. The chip has a built-in innovative low-power, fast-start structure, which solves the problem of slow power-on startup in current high-power systems. At the same time, it has built-in various usage fault and production fault protection circuits, making it extremely reliable. TP1002, together with TP1550 (or 431) and optocoupler, can precisely control constant voltage/constant current (CV/CC), enabling stable system operation. It greatly simplifies the design of low-to-medium power CV/CC power converters, eliminating the need for debugging, facilitating production, and resulting in an extremely low failure rate. It can also provide extremely strict output voltage and current regulation accuracy. TP1002 controller is low-cost and high-efficiency, with extremely low no-load power consumption/fast startup speed: 20W circuit typical value is 50mW/170ms@220Vac. It is suitable for CV/CC power converters and adapters with output power of 0.5W-20W. SOT23-5 package is recommended for 0.5W-12W, and SOP8 package for 8W-20W.
