SFL678
The SFL678 is a high-performance AC/DC offline PSR (primary-side regulation) controller for dimmable LED drivers. This IC integrates SiFirst's proprietary "extended synchronous dimming" module, enabling a dimming range greater than 1000:1. It also provides very tight (less than 3%) constant current control (CC), making it ideal for LED lighting applications. The SFL678 uses pulse frequency modulation (PFM) control to improve efficiency and simplify system EMI design. This IC significantly reduces system cost by eliminating the secondary feedback circuit. The SFL669's wide VDD operating range (typically 10 to 30V) simplifies flexible LED system design. The IC also features built-in soft-start to mitigate stress during power-up. The SFL678 integrates undervoltage lockout (UVLO), VDD overvoltage protection (VDD OVP), LED open/short circuit protection, soft-start, cycle-by-cycle current limiting (OCP), pin float protection, gate clamping, VDD clamping, and other functions and protections. The SFL678 is available in a SOT23-6 package.
