SF5566E
The SF5566E is a high-performance, high-efficiency, and highly integrated current mode PWM controller suitable for offline flyback converter applications. In the SF5566E, the PWM switching frequency with shuffling is fixed at 65KHz and is adjusted to a narrower range. When the output power demand decreases, the IC will reduce the switching frequency according to the proprietary η-balancing TM series control to improve power conversion efficiency at light loads. When the output power is below a given value, the IC enters burst mode, and the no-load power can be reduced to below 75mW. This IC can achieve "zero OCP/OPP recovery gap" using SiFirst's proprietary control algorithm. The SF5566E also incorporates proprietary "audio no overcurrent protection compensation", which enables constant power limiting and achieves audio noise operation under heavy load when the line input is approximately 90VAC. The SF5566E integrates undervoltage lockout (UVLO), VDD overvoltage protection (OVP), cycle-by-cycle current limit (OCP), pin float protection, overload protection (OLP), gate clamping, leading edge blanking (LEB), soft start, and other functions and protections. The SF5566E is available in an SOP8 package.
