SF1560
The SF1560 is a high-performance, highly integrated current mode PWM controller suitable for medium and large offline flyback converter applications. In the SF1560, the PWM switch is internally adjusted to a very narrow range. To improve EMI performance, the IC integrates a frequency switching function to reduce the conducted EMI radiation of the power supply. The IC also integrates a constant power limit module to achieve constant output power limiting from 90VAC to 264VAC. Under light load conditions, the green mode function can continuously reduce the switching frequency. Under zero load conditions, the power supply enters burst mode and provides excellent efficiency without producing audio noise. This green mode function enables the power supply to meet international energy saving requirements. The SF1560 integrates undervoltage lockout (UVLO), VDD overvoltage protection (OVP), soft start, externally programmable overtemperature protection (OTP), cycle-by-cycle current limit (OCP), overload protection (OLP), pin float protection, RI pin to ground short circuit protection, gate clamping, VDD clamping, leading edge blanking (LEB), and other functions and protections. In the SF1560, OTP and VDD OVP are latching plug protections. Other protection functions are automatic recovery mode protections. The SF1560 is available in SOP-8 and DIP-8 packages.
