SF2530B
The SF2530B is a high-performance, high-efficiency, and highly integrated current mode PWM controller suitable for offline flyback converter applications. In the SF2530B, the PWM switching frequency with shuffling is fixed at 65KHz and is adjusted to a narrower range. When the output power demand decreases, the IC reduces the switching frequency according to the proprietary η-balancing TM series control to improve power conversion efficiency at light loads. When the output power is below a given value, the IC enters burst mode, and the no-load power can be reduced to below 75mW. This IC can achieve "zero OCP/OPP recovery gap" using SiFirst's proprietary control algorithm. The SF2530B also incorporates a proprietary "audio noise-free OCP compensation" to achieve constant power limiting and audio noise operation under heavy loads when the line input is approximately 90VAC. The SF2530B integrates functions and protections such as undervoltage lockout (UVLO), VDD overvoltage protection (OVP), cycle-by-cycle current limit (OCP), output undervoltage protection (UVP) and overvoltage protection (OVP), pin float protection, gate clamping, VDD clamping, leading edge blanking (LEB), and soft start. The SF2530B is available in a SOT23-6 package.
