SF5533
The SF5533 is a high-performance, high-efficiency, and highly integrated current mode PWM controller suitable for offline flyback converter applications. The OLP debounce time is programmable in the SF5533. In the SF5533, the PWM switching frequency with random playback is fixed at 65KHz and is adjusted to a strict range. When the output power demand decreases, the IC reduces the switching frequency according to the proprietary η-balanced TM series control to improve power conversion efficiency at light loads. When the output power is below a given value, the IC enters burst mode, and the no-load power can be reduced to below 75mW. This IC can achieve "zero OCP/OPP recovery gap" using SiFirst's proprietary control algorithm. The SF5533 also incorporates a proprietary "audio noise-free OCP compensation" to achieve constant power limiting and audio noise operation under heavy loads when the line input is approximately 90VAC. The SF5533 integrates undervoltage lockout (UVLO), VDD overvoltage protection (OVP), cycle-by-cycle current limiting (OCP), pin float protection, overload protection (OLP), gate clamping, RT pin-to-ground short circuit protection, leading edge blanking (LEB), soft start, and other functions and protections. The SF5533 is available in a SOT23-6 package.
