SF5930S
The SF5930S is a high-performance, highly integrated DCM (Discontinuous Conduction Mode) primary-side regulation (PSR) power controller suitable for offline low-power converter applications. It can achieve CV/CC accuracy below ±4%. The SF5930S features a built-in proprietary NC-Cap/PSR-IITM series for CV control, eliminating the need for external compensation or filter capacitors. A built-in cable voltage drop compensation function provides excellent CV performance. This IC uses multi-mode control to improve efficiency and reliability and reduce audio noise energy @ light load. The IC achieves standby power consumption below 70mW. The SF5930S integrates proprietary "audio noise reduction" control to enable audio noise-free operation. The IC features built-in "fast dynamic response" control to meet USB charging requirements. The SF5930S also integrates proprietary "zero output start" control to enable startup when the output voltage is near zero. The IC features proprietary "intelligent output short-circuit protection" to protect systems with large leakage inductance during output short circuits. The SF5930S integrates FB short-circuit protection, undervoltage lockout (UVLO), VDD overvoltage protection (VDD OVP), soft start, cycle-by-cycle current limit (OCP), pin float protection, gate clamping, VDD clamping, and other functions and protections. The SF5930S is available in a SOT23-5 package.
