KP16017
KP16017 High-precision, deep dimming quasi-resonant buck LED constant current power switch KP16017 is a highly integrated buck LED constant current power switch for LED backlight applications. The chip adopts a quasi-resonant operating mode and integrates accurate inductor current zero-crossing detection, achieving high efficiency while also obtaining good EMI performance. KP16017 integrates PWM dimming function, which can use PWM to analog dimming, or direct PWM chopping dimming and combined dimming, and can achieve a wide dimming range of 0.01~100%. The chip integrates high-precision current sampling technology and accurate current zero-crossing detection, combined with internal compensation, to obtain high-precision dimming linearity and consistency. KP16017 integrates a power MOSFET, simplifying system design and production costs. KP16017 integrates complete protection functions to ensure safe and reliable system operation, such as: VDD undervoltage protection (UVLO), LED open circuit protection, LED short circuit protection, LED short circuit to ground protection, inductor and diode short circuit protection, CS open circuit and CS short circuit to Drain protection, cycle-by-cycle current limit (OCP), overtemperature protection (OTP), leading edge blanking (LEB), etc.
