Chip Description
The EG2304 is a cost-effective dedicated gate driver chip for MOSFETs and IGBTs. It integrates logic signal input processing circuitry, undervoltage protection circuitry, level shift circuitry, pulse filtering circuitry, and output drive circuitry. It is specifically designed for drive circuits in brushless motor controllers and power DC-DC converters.
The EG2304 has a high-end operating voltage of up to 550V and a wide low-end VCC supply voltage range of 10V～25V. The chip's input channels HIN and LIN have built-in 200K pull-down resistors. When the input is floating, the upper and lower power MOSFETs are turned off. The output current capability IO+/- is 0.3/0.6A, and it uses an SOP8 package.
