Chip Description
The EG7500 chip integrates two error amplifiers, an externally adjustable oscillator, a dead-time control comparator, a PWM functional control circuit, a 5V precision ±1% reference voltage, and a power tube output drive circuit, etc. The common-mode voltage range of the two error amplifiers is -0.3V to Vcc-2V. The dead-time control comparator outputs a fixed offset voltage to generate a dead-time of about 5%. The output transistor of the EG7500 can be connected in a common-emitter or emitter-follower configuration, allowing for either push-pull or single-ended output. In push-pull mode, the two drive pulses are 180 degrees out of phase; in single-ended mode, the two drive pulses are synchronous and in-phase.
