Chip Description
The EG7335 is a versatile constant current LED flashlight chip operating at 2.5V to 5.5V. It features a constant current output with adjustable current, suitable for driving various LEDs, including white light emitting diodes. Two pins, OPT1 and OPT2, offer four different operating modes. The chip integrates a power transistor, simplifying the external circuitry for flashlight applications. It also integrates a status register and oscillator circuit. Controlled by the flashlight button, the EG7335 can cycle through full brightness, half brightness, low light, strobe, and SOS modes, making it ideal for flashlight use. The EG7335 has an internal fixed current of approximately 1A; the EG7335B is less than 1.4A and has an externally adjustable current; for higher currents, two EG7335 chips can be connected in parallel.
